Bobbi Brown Nude Collection For 2009

As Bobbi puts it so nicely, nude make-up "really never goes out of style; It's polished, sophisticated, and always looks modern." With that in mind, her Nude Collection for Fall makes use of colors that enhance a woman's skin-tone and bring out her inner beauty. All of the Bobbi Brown shades being introduced can be used to transition a look from day-time to night-time.

Here is what you can expect to find in this new limited edition collection:

Nude Eye Palette ($60) - This palette features three eyeshadow duos in exclusive colors providing a range of shadow finishes - soft matte, lightly pearlized, and metallic high-shimmer. The six shades are: Navajo Eyeshadow, Pebble Metallic Eyeshadow, Chino Eyeshadow, Beige Linen Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow, Maple Sugar Metallic Eyeshadow, and Caviar Eyeshadow.

Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Caviar Ink ($21) - This shade is a very rich, deep brown.

Shimmer Brick in Nude ($38) - This Shimmer Brick features five shades of pure pearl pigments: pink, gold, bronze, beige, and caramel. Mixed together, the color creates a nude glow.

Creamy Lip Color ($22 each) - There are four new shades of this highly moisturizing lipstick being offered - Rose Bud, Rose Garden, Soft Blush, and Twilight. All are pink or brown nudes.

Pucker Up With New Lip Glosses From Benefit

As a certified lip gloss junkie, I am thoroughly excited about Benefit's release of a new line of glosses. Available in eight beautiful shades, Benefit promises that you will "look like a dream" sporting your shiny lips with just the right amount of color pay-off and none of the stickiness (who wants their hair attached to their lips?!?) Each gloss has a cushioned paddle to ensure smooth application every time. Who can say no to a shimmery, glimmery pout?

And now for a look at the colors! (All swatch photos are from the Benefit website)

Almost Famous (copper penny)

Fresh Squeezed (pink grapefruit)

Friends in High Places (sparkling raspberry)

I'm with the Band (golden pink shimmer)

Kiss You (clear fuschia)

Life on the A List (bubble gum pink)

Who Are You Wearing? (passion fruit pink)

Zone Out (golden nude)

All of these glosses look wearable and universally flattering! I'm pretty sure it's going to be hard not to have the "collect them all" mentality. And the names are great, too, huh? These lip glosses retail for $18, and you can find them at Benefit boutiques around the country, online at the Benefit website, and at Sephora stores and http://www.sephora.com/.

Do you think you'll check them out?

Urban Decay: New Shades Urge You To Rock Those Bright Eyes

I'm a sucker for gorgeous, bright eyeshadows and eyeliners, and Urban Decay makes some of the prettiest ones. I absolutely love their Deluxe Shadow Box and their 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils. I was happy to get a peek at Urban Decay's two new shades in both their eyeshadows and their liquid eyeliners. The stunning teals and purples grabbed me right away - aside from pink, these are my other all-time favorite colors. Of course, I swatched these products on my hand before you could blink an eye!

The liquid eyeliners amazed me. Both colors imparted beautifully pigmented metallic hues, and they seemed to glide on smoothly and effortlessly. They were quick-drying and budge-proof - no worry about the liner melting off on those hot and humid summer days! The two new shades are Minx, a metallic teal, and Ecstasy, a metallic violet. Bold colored liners can be a great way to add a pop of color to a neutral eye! Though I don't generally gravitate towards the liquid formula, these just might be difficult to pass up for long! Urban Decay's liquid eyeliners retail for $18 each, and can also be found in a range of other color options.

In addition to the new colors of eyeliner, Urban Decay has also created two new eyeshadow shades that coordinate with the liners. Minx eyeshadow is a gorgeous teal with silver micro glitter, and Ecstasy is a bright violet sheen. While both colors are really pretty, I prefer the UD shadows that are devoid of glitter - I don't love to deal with the inevitable fall-out. These shadows are a welcomed addition and will create a beautiful bright summer look. Urban Decay offers a long list of eyeshadows, which run the gamut in color and finish - from the more glittery to the more subtly shimmery or metallic, more neutral shades, to the more daring. I also really dig the cute packaging! The shadows retail for $16.

L-R, T-B: Minx and Ecstasy Liquid Eyeliners, Minx and Ecstasy Eyeshadows

These new shades of Urban Decay liner and shadows can be found at Sephora stores and online. I definitely recommend taking a look at them. The colors are really hot. You can also find many other products from Urban Decay, including some exclusives, at the Urban Decay website.

I have so many Urban Decay favorites - their 24/7 Eyeliner Pencils, Primer Potion, Big Fatty Colored mascara, their palettes....I could go on and on! Right now I have my eyes on the Get Baked Eye Kit. What are some of your UD faves and must-haves (or items you have your eyes on)?
